We’re working to become a community-powered publication and we want to raise $15,000.
To kick this off, we are asking for your support of our first-ever large fundraising campaign to help support our operations, team members, and continue to do important work in amplifying, inspiring and empowering our community.
Support stories for and by the next generation of Asian voices
The next phase of Cold Tea Collective will be to transition from a volunteer-driven organization to a sustainable independent news organization that provides paid career development opportunities for emerging Asian journalists and other media professionals.
To do this, we need your help. We’re looking to raise $15,000 over the next month so we can support our operations and team to keep doing this important work.
With your help, we will also be able to invest resources into new content such as more frequent publishing of articles and our newsletter, new podcast series and videos to tell the stories of our generation. We’d also like to plan events for the community to connect with and learn from one another.

Is your website secure?
All payments are processed through Stripe. Stripe is a PCI Service Provider Level 1, which is the highest grade of payment processing security. All credit card information is encrypted, sent directly to Stripe and is never sent to our website server. This means that we are PCI compliant and any breach of our website won’t result in stolen credit card information. Learn more here.
Will my contribution be considered a charitable donation for tax purposes?
No. We don’t have charitable status, so we can’t provide you a charitable tax receipt.
