Cultural ecosystem Gold House to celebrate their 2024 A100 List at upcoming Gold Gala

Over the last five years, cultural ecosystem builder Gold House has created a number of initiatives and programs to ensure that those of AAPI descent are able to see themselves and others like them reach their definitions of success. One of the ways in which Gold House does this is through their annual A100 List of honorees to recognize Asian Pacific leaders who have significantly impacted American culture and society in the last year.

By nomination and a long list of adjudicators, the A100 List includes individuals and groups across social impact, entertainment and media, business and technology, fashion and lifestyle, gaming, sports and more.

“This year was special: Asian Pacific leaders had a record number of records broken while building a more inclusive tomorrow for all, particularly in new avenues like AI. Gold House is honored to celebrate so many new and established leaders who are committed to both equity and excellence.” said Bing Chen and Jeremy Tran, CEO and COO of Gold House.

See the full list of A100 Honorees below and keep an eye out on our social channels and website for coverage from this year’s Gold Gala.

Recognizing inyeon and excellence in the AAPI community

We first met the Gold House team in person in the winter of 2022, as the world emerged slowly out of isolation. Fast forward to two and a half years later, I am starting to see the real life connections and community that has come from that very first event we were invited to and how our vast and diverse community is strengthened when we work together.

This coming weekend, I’ll see many familiar faces along the press line for the 2024 Gold Gala; the same publications and journalists I shared a press line with in that 2022 event. Now, I’m proud to call many of those fellow journalists and publishers friends and collaborators, including Mochi Magazine, Dorkaholics, Mixed Asian Media, TIMID Magazine and more – some might say it’s coincidence, but some might call it inyeon that intertwines us and brings us together from past lives, to present, to future.

Something that I often think back to was what folks said when asked how they define “AAPI excellence.”

For Bing Chen, Co-founder and CEO of Gold House, “AAPI excellence is everyone doing the thing that they most dream of at the highest level that they want.”

Jeremy Tran, Gold House Co-founder and COO adds to that with the importance of celebrating who we are: “Owning your identity, who you are, it’s golden.”
