Sara Shahnaz Ahmed is a writer with a strong interest in food, history, sustainability, and culture. In 2024, she placed first in LIGHT literary magazine’s PEN-3 Prize in Storytelling. She has a background working in fundraising and marketing for social impact organizations. In her spare time, she can be found organizing cookbook club meetings in her neighborhood. She is based in New York City.
